And to Come....

A series of short stories! Back in Arizona, I was in a type of gifted class called ELP
(Enhanced Learning Program). Every month in fifth grade, we did projects on unique animals from all around the world. One of the parts of the project was that we had to write a story about that animal. Of course, they were usually fictional pieces because the animals talked and stuff like a fantasy world with unicorns that eat rainbows and poo butterflies, I know I know.
But anyway, over the next few weeks, I will post one of these animal stories every week. I have about...oops I forgot how many there are...about three or four...
Sorry I won't be posting one this week. I have to fine-tune them a little, because I didn't edit them completely the first time. Plus, I'm much older than I was then (what has it been, like, five months?), and I have many new words in my vocabulary, one of which is "garbleflink" (Hey, I never said they were all real! Also I got it from my mother so....yes.), which is a small, half pixie half troll sort of thing that sneaks into your bedroom at night and dominates your dresser drawers...BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
So, ya, be ready for the stories and such.

If you are bored,

here's something fun to do! Click on this URL after you read this post:  http://www.cs.earlham.edu/~jimg/reading/bored.html and look at the big old list of things to do! WARNING: all activities are rated OFDBP! (only for desperately bored people) If you are not desperately bored, side effects of this site include bursting into hysterical laughter that may last for hours and the sudden urge to shout at squirrels.
P.S. Tonight for dinner I am having tacos. My sister is grating cheese...

I Am Poem

I am a female preteen who finds her delight in writing and celebrates when others accomplish their objectives
I wonder if what the future has in keep for me is positive
I hear them cheering me on as I accomplish good deeds and build a positive future for myself
I see the sky turn bright colors as dawn sets in
I want peace in the world so I can enjoy every little moment in life
I am a female preteen who finds her delight in writing and celebrates when other accomplish their objectives.
I pretend that I know everyone around me, although I do not.
I feel the wet, cold, fresh grass as I run barefoot past the houses in a familiar neighborhood.
I touch the bark of the large willow tree with my hands and crunch leaves with my toes as I sit down.
I worry about the people I love and wonder how and what they are doing.
I cry because I do not know what to do.
I am a female preteen who finds her delight in writing and celebrates when others accomplish their objectives.
I understand that I am luckier than people in other countries
I say I am creative and a good friend
I dream of the world in peace, and no one fights, everyone is equal.
I try to be the best I can.
I hope others will like me for who I am and follow in my footsteps
I am a female preteen who finds her delight in writing and celebrates when others accomplish their objectives.

Hope you liked this unedited poem (oops I almost made that "peom") that I wrote in fourth grade as an assignment. Please comment or check one of the below (LOVE it!, sorta-kinda, or don't like it) to let me know how you feel!

Welcome to My Blog! (plus instructions for the fish...)

On this blog, I will be posting writing pieces that are too long to submit to writing magazines. They won't be posted as frequently as I would like, but hey, good work takes time! I will also post thoughts and the occasional surprise, which will be posted usually once a week, but sometimes not. I will usually do a pattern of a thought every other week, then a story all the other weeks. If you like this blog, please tell your friends about me and to tell their friends to tell their friends to tell their friends to tell their...uncles to tell science teachers to tell fake hobos...just kidding. Just tell your friends (Oops! I almost typed "firends." What kind of person would that be...?) to tell theirs and so on and on and on...
Thanks for your awesome support! Please follow this blog and subcribe to posts!! And if you want to learn more about me, read my profile, please! :-D

P.S. If you have absolutely no idea what the fish at the top of the screen are for, its just a cheesy yet cool interactive thingy-ma-jig that I put on my blog. The fish will follow your mouse and you can just click anywhere on the light blue screen to drop fish food there. You have a limited amount of food though, so do not be surprised if you can't feed them anymore. But after the fish eat more, your supply will be replenished, so just be patient and wait for them to finish. If you have more questions, put them in a comment.
